Shot the first IDPA match in over a year yesterday... Good to be out getting trigger time with the people I haven't seen in awhile.

Our local IDPA club has opened specialty divisions for .22 pistol and .22 carbines so people can keep shooting. Very few .22 pistols (.22 pistols still have to meet rules and fit in the box) but we are seeing a lot of .22 carbines.

Great way to provide a path around the ammo shortages. Also provides a great intro to the PCC division.

My local club hasn't done anything with running 22s for IDPA. Attendance was down 34 shooters, we usually have 50-60. on average. And only 5 stages.

We never missed a match at my local clubs. Sanctioned matches were another story. Lots of cancelations & postponed matches.

Were back in the swing of things. 2 local matches in the books for this season, and a classifier. Man am I glad to be back running and gunning.

I shot SSR for a while. Early on I shot ,45 auto. Great fun and challenging.
Jim
