If S&W made a Metal 2.0 in .45?

I would pick up the first one I saw in store. Of the new releases over the last year, none have brought me the excitement that I would get from an m&p metal in .45, or .40 for that matter. Nothing against 9mm, but there are plenty of great 9mm handguns on the market. Much less so for the larger calibers.

I'm also an all metal guy. Love my 457 and 4516-2 .45's, but yes would love to see Smith come out with a new metal .45.

lol Soda, Ive owned a SIG P220for probably 30 years. You and I think alike, which is scary. When I do carry, which isn't very often, it's almost always the SIG. My SIG is totally unaltered in case I end up in court. It's 2.5 inches for 5 at 25 yards accurate. The sights are dead on, it's never malfunctioned. It's definable not the prettiest gun I own. If it's made in Germany you can be assured that A: It's not going to be especially good looking. And B: You can bet your life that it's going to work.

I think the hypothetical 2.0 Metal in 45ACP would be at least a somewhat logical new/next gun for those of us that are enamored with the 4500 series pistols. Ive heard they're reliable and accurate.
