IHMSA seminar and fun shoot - April 3rd - Lawrenceburg, KY

On Saturday, April 3rd, there will be an IHMSA fun shoot and seminar at the Anderson County Sportsman Club in Lawrenceburg, KY. The event is free and open to the public. They shoot Small Bore, Field Pistol, and Big Bore classes for pistols and revolvers, along with scoped and open-sight .22LR rifles. It starts at 10am and lasts as long as there are people still shooting. I did my first silhouette competition on March 7th and I loved it, it is so much fun. The Kentucky IHMSA State Director, Gregg Rhineheimer, is a member there and is very helpful, especially to newcomers to the sport. He may or may not be there that day, but several active IHMSA competitors will be there to answer questions and give tips on silhouette shooting. There is also an IDPA-style match at 9:30am at the same location. It's held at the pistol pit around the corner from the silhouette range, but I don't have all the details on it to post it. I just know it's at 9:30am and I'll be using my Model 10
