Little confused, maybe someone can help.
627-5 in .357
Long Case label say’s 178014A M627-5 Pro Series. Easy enough, right?
Above that label on the upper half of the case is a label that includes:
serial number on the top line,
second line with a bunch of numbers,
S&W along with model number on third line
Performance Center on 4th line
Pro model 627 on the final line
Pro Series laser engraved on right side of frame. No PC markings.
So question is, assuming this is a Pro Series, why is the PC indicated on a label also?
I know the Pro Series are just line production that are given some of the PC parts, and the PC is basically hand fit from start to finish, but wouldn’t it be marked?
Don’t really want to post the pic out of respect to seller. He is advertising it as a Performance Center Pro Series 627
