Funny I just sold my SD40VE and purchased a .40S&W M&P Shield. The SD40 was ok but the Shield works a lot better for CCW

I have been thinking of the M&P for a while. The SD was my first hand gun, didn't want to spend a lot until I knew I would like it. Turns out I love shooting it.
As you all know the M&P is a pretty big step up. Closer tolerances better fit and finish. Shorter trigger reset and the pull, so smooth. I installed the APEX kit on the SD to bring the pull down but not sure I sill need such a modification on the new gun.

Welcome to the M&P 9/.40 Fullsize club, home of "BYOM...Bring Your Own Magazines" None to find here, or anywhere for that matter.

Hey, that may make a good signature tagline.. "M&P Fullsize... BYOMs!"

Enjoy your new 9, lots of fun at the range. Be safe!

A new member to the m&p fam. Awesome!! My first m&p was a 9mm f/s. GREAT GUN!!! Enjoy it & welcome to the club :)

Trust me...it won't be your last. They're addictive

It's is one of those "take it to the bank" answers.
I started with an M&P 15 MOE, then came the 40FS, next was the 15-22 and last but not final, the Shield9. Looking to get a .45 to round out the bunch and then work on filling the holes with the in between models.
Congrats on the new pistol, take the statement in the above quote to heart and lock up your wallet now!

Over the last 3 months I've purchased a Shield 9, Governor and finally just recently a 9c. I've also rehomed several non S&W handguns. Now I'll have to shoot a Full Size to see if I need/want one. I need to slow down!
