I've sold my model 60,model 27,model 28 and my model 586. I've just got a case of milsurpitis that has flared up and bought a WWII Canadian Inglis High Power and a Japanese type 38 Arisaka.I've allway's liked milsurp's from WWI and WWII time will tell if the S&W's will make a come back . I still think they are the best revolver's out there and still own a bunch.

Do you load for the Type 38? I would be interested in how yours shoots when you get around to it.Any idea what arsenal and when made?

Heck, if you're slipping, I've fallen!

I gave away a model 18 with box, original and custom grips, and a box of .22's to what I hope is a deserving younger person the other day.

Felt pretty good.

If you wish to branch out in your philanthropic endeavors, I know a certain deserving older person who would appreciate your consideration.

I'm slipping is not a recent fad I've been collecting milsurps for a very long time. At this time I have 2 Savage # 4 mk 1* Enfields,1 BSA # 1 mk III*, 1 S&W .455 British hand ejector, 1 1915 DWM Luger,1 1917-1921 Erfurt Luger, 1 k98 Mauser,2 Russian 91/30 Mosin Nagant rifles, 1 Russian Mosin Nagant model 44 carbine,1 Russian Mosin Nagant model 38 carbine,1 M 1 Garand ,1 Springfield Krag rifle, 1 1917 Remington Enfield rifle, 1 Colt WWII 1911a1, 1 S&W Victory model, 1 Bushmaster AR 15,1 Yugo 24/47 Mauser, 1 Yugo 59/66 SKS,1 Romanian tt33 Tokarev, 1 Japanese type 26 revolver,1 Type 94 Nambu pistol, 3 Type 14 Nambu pistols,1 type 95 NCO sword, 2 Type 38 rifles, 3 Type 99 rifles,1 Systema Argentinian 1911a1,1 Argentinian Bollester Molina pistol,1 Brazilian S&W 1917, 1 Canadian Inglis High Power pistol plus bayonets for all the above rifles This is what I have now I've sold many that I regret over the years. I've shot most with some factory surplus ammo but the Japanese rifles I've used Hornady modern ammo and like it a lot.p/s Milton both Type 38's are Nagoya a series 26 and 28 .I've not shot the series 28 yet but the series 26 shoots very good but abought 10 " hight at 100 yards .

I did just the opposite. I sold all my milsurps
and a ton of surplus ammo(30 carbine..762X51..762X39...762X54..556)because of age and room to shoot them.More interested in 22rf revolvers now.
