I applaud the innovative design, but I think I would prefer a compact semiauto with a couple or three more shots coming right up, rather than following a break, dump, fumble, reload and close process.

At that weight, and with a 5/8" wide surface pressing into my hand between thumb and forefinger, it would definitely be a hoot to shoot -- once. Somebody else can have my shot from the other barrel. :D

I have been following this firearm online for a while, I would love to see one, I would pick one up if the price point isn't ridiculous....

It seems to have just one purpose, and that is to keep you from being killed. Two shots at very close range to get you out of a jam.

No fun at the range either. I reckon you would have to test fire it to see if it works, and that's about it. I would guess after firing those two test shots, most people would load it up and never fire it again.

It may be a good thing for its designated purpose. The thing is, would someone toss out a bunch of money for a gun that will most likely be shot only twice?

I just noticed the MSRP at the bottom of their advertisement page. $500- $800. They are not giving them away! As said above, if they were dirt cheap, I would consider one, but mostly as a novelty item. At the prices they will be asking, I would pass. (The idea of porting the barrel for a quick follow up shot, cracks me up! :) )

Why would anyone choose to carry one of those when there are so many better choices out there for concealed carry? There are roughly a bazillion better choices for home defense.

Looks like a 21st Century version of the WWII Liberator .45 to me. Should serve the same purpose...stick it in someone's ear so you can take a better gun from them.

What he said. It's a VERY expensive derringer. **YAWN**

I live in St Louis and try to keep my ear to the ground, but I'd never heard anything about this firm until a few weeks ago. The owner says he thinks there's $10M in potential sales waiting to be tapped.........sounds pretty optimistic to me. I'd like to shoot one.......once. It sure looks a lot easier to shoot than the Derringers I've handled.

At that size and weight, that cannon can be concealed anywhere at all. The concept is about the same as the Kel-Tec, I guess. All
it needs is a belt clip. Can't imagine shooting it once, much less
twice.

A lot of folks buy those 45 Colt Derringers with funky triggers. For those Girly Man guys out there it is supposed to be available in 9mm also, but those of course will bounce off:D;)

Just looks cool. Has to be less painful than the derringers.
