I was crushed to see a post on my Facebook feed this morning, letting us all know that George passed two days ago. George was a fine man who went out of his way to spend time with us and to always show us a big time when I was visiting the folks back home in Indiana. I was hoping to see him this fall. I see George hasn't posted here in a long while (probably since he took ill), but I thought several folks would want to know about this.

I don't know a single person who had a single thing to say about George that wasn't positive. Not many people I can say that about - certainly not myself, although his example makes me want to be better. We are diminished - I'll be praying for all who miss him and I know his memory will always be a blessing.

Thanks for posting this Erich.

He told me a long time ago to look him up on FB but I don't do FB. My loss.

He was a good guy. I have his card around here somewhere and a couple of items I won in a karma here. I still use the prop rods he gave me.

RIP my friend.

Prayer from Texas for his family and friends. May God surround them with His peace, comfort, and strength during this difficult time.
