I have two S&W grip adapters that are exactly like those made by Tyler, Pachmyer, and others. I have been unable to find any info on these - particularly sizing. I found one internet photo of a box with "Medium" on the end flap. My box has no size markings nor does the actual adapter. The adapters I have seem to fit both K and N frames.

When were these produced? How does their re-sale value compare to a Tyler-T-Grip" One of my adapters is in the box, the 2nd one does not have its box. Both appear to be unused.

First the S&W grip adapters are not exactly like Tyler! The Tyler is cast aluminum and retained by a phosphor-bronze clip. The Pachmayer and predecessors are made of a synthetic material with a spring steel clip.

The S&W adapters and Pachmayr are identical, for the simple reason that they were made by Pachmayr for S&W. The medium usually fits either K or N frames pretty much equally well. The real difference is between the K frame round or square butt frames, just like Tyler.

"Exactly" was probably a poor choice of words, however, Tyler also made adapters using synthetic material - I just sold one last month. I do appreciate the other info.
