Considering a 19-7 prefix SDA from PC. Can only find limited information on them. S&W 4th edition information says deleted square butt in 1995-96 and discontinued 6” barrel in 1996. Anyone know any other info such as the production code, type box, number produced, approximate value? It’s used but very good condition. Any info would be appreciated.

As for the product code, that would be interesting. Have you called the factory? If you call Customer Service (800-331-0852) hit the prompts for S&W Customer Service, you can get Product code information from the nice CS Reps there, just give them your serial number and ask for the Product code, that might tell us something.

Contacted S&W CS with the serial number and she said product code was 170025 and it came with a 3” barrel so the barrel has been replaced. Thanks for the help.
