Just provide your COMPLETE SN (usually on the butt) and a good picture and/or a detailed description of exactly what you have (caliber, stampings, etc.). Someone will provide.

Please note - "born date" does not exist. SHIP DATE is what you will get and what Mr. Jinks supplys. You will find that the ship date by SN is far from being in SN order due to the various stages in Mfg. past the SN being printed on the frame and the shipping sequence.

P&R Fan, thank you for your reply, were did you finf this info ??
Thank's,

See posting #8, above.

The Model 66 is the stainless steel version of the earlier Combat Magnum (Model 19) which was manufactured in carbon steel. The Model 66-3 was made from 1986 until the Model 66-4 was introduced in 1994. So yours is a late Model 66-3.

Is it worth $50 for a letter to find out exactly when your revolver left the factory, or is "1993" good enough? For most people, it would not be worth $50 to get an exact date.
