Purchased my M&P 40 Pro series CORE and an Insight MRDS at the same time. The Insight mounted with the base and screws supplied with the pistol perfectly. The problem is that the activation switch for the Insight MRDS is on the back and when mounted on the slide, the gap between the activation switch and the front of the rear sight in the dovetail is so small I can't get my finger in there to push the activation button. I have to slip the flat end of a screwdriver in to press up against the button. Am I missing something here? And BTW, this red dot will not co witness. I would think if S&W was listing the Insight as a compatable MRDS, this problem with access to the button to turn it on and off would have been discovered. Your thoughts?
