Ok, I did it.
Bought a 11 Inch IPad Pro.
Picked it up this AM down at Best Buy.
Used iTunes to transfer settings.
Using it right now.
So far, it’s pretty much like my older iPad except I miss my Home Button!
Way Back when, we didn’t have a home button.
Nobody did. But years down the road, I am accustomed to one.
Apple can be a difficult company.
This switching of cables is a pain!
It’s now USB C. Forget that Lightning! It’s so yesterday!
The included cable is a C to C. The power block only has a USB C hole.
No problem,
I have ordered 3 regular USB to C Cables.
The good news is this baby will charge and transfer data with non Apple cables and charge blocks.

I have been reading reviews on the new iPad Pro like you bought. The reviews I've been seeing are mostly positive and some groaning about the home button and little things like that. Some fussing about the elimination of the lightning plug.
I'll use my iPad Air 2 until it quits probably.

I am using an iPhone X and don’t miss the home button at all. Love the camera.

I also use the 10.5 inch iPad Pro, that still has the home button, and while I would like the new 11 inch without a home button, I gotta admit the 10.5 model is super, and does way more than I am capable of remembering. I will likely upgrade to the latest and greatest in another coupla years.

I had a 12” Pro for a while, and it was great for watching movies, but I like the smaller iPad form factor better. Just more comfortable, I find.

I have not used a laptop or desktop in about six years now.

(I have become, alas, an Apple Fangeezer.:))
