Wanting to know where to get the correct carry handle and frnt post for M&P10. I have a front rail, does this have to be removed and then use a post type front, or will a detachable site be acceptable. Midway says this configuration that I bought is the correct set up, but I think there is a height issue with the front site, would appreciate any input.

The rail you speak of, is it the one that is built into the gas block?
Mine is and I haven't had any issues with it. Up until recently, I was using MBUS front and rear sights that are not listed as being specific to an AR10/SR25/LR308 rifle and they have been just fine.
As far as a carry handle, I may be mistaken but I believe the AR15 and AR10 carry handles are the same. A couple of sites do list some specifically for an AR10 type rifle but I'm not sold on them really being any different since the rails on both rifles are the same.

Height is most likely the same but the receiver is longer on an ar10 so the ar15 carry handle would be shorter in length

If you already have a set, try them. I would contact S&W about a correct setup.
