We have always been able to buy the house we are moving to before we sell the old one. Then, after the move, we sell the old one. And we never moved much more than 100 miles. Makes it much more tolerable. Just a bunch of trips with friends and the pickup.
Moving is the worst job ever. Haven't done it often thru the years but often enough to hate it. Made my last move 8 years ago.
