I went to the range today to test 2 rifles. I had just put scopes on my Rock River M4 carbine and my Ruger Mini 14. I put Nikon 3-30 223 carbine scopes on both. So I am make the final adjustment on the mini 14 and some guy up on the skeet range start blasting birds. I stopped my shooting as I thought that it was unsafe for me to be shooting while he was down range from me. The skeet and the rifle range both face southeast with the skeet being to my left about 50 yards and ten yards in front of me. So what do you think? Was I being safe or overly cautious? I finished my sighting in while he was inside the Skeet house. Then I went over to the pistol range a shoot my single action revolvers, 45 colt Ubieties clone and my Ruger 44Mag Blackhawk. I hope the blast of that Blackhawk got the shot gunner's attention. it was a good day to be at the range it was sunny, the temp was comfortable, I took a light lunch and took my time doing something I enjoy doing.
