A friend of mine let me buy his one owner Model 66-3 with a 3" barrel. It's in great condition and has been mostly safe kept and shot little. He still had the original box, wrapping paper and paperwork. He let me have it for $800. Always wanted a 3" and
I'm a K Frame lover. So be honest with me, how good of a deal did I really get?

I saw some dings on the wood, but otherwise, it looks great. Given the history, box, and papers, I'd say you did just fine, considering that package could easily be valued well over $1K. They don't build them like that any more, either. I'd love to own it as a companion to my 2.5" 66-3. Congratulations!

Seems just a bit on the high side but with the box and paper work it is okay. Very nice gun
