You will have a hard time finding a holster such as that.

I don't know of any holster makers that do so.]

I carry my 637 in a Comp-Tac CTAC

Thumb break IWBs are not vey common for good reason...the gun is lower and tighter into the body...not only doesn't it need one, but it can be harder to manipulate. I use a simple horsehide off set clip-on from Del Fatti...

I use either a K&D Thunderbird or an Andrews McDaniel II. Either maker would add a thumb break but I don't see why you'd want one.

When I am working around the yard and house working in the garden and playing with the dog and my sons rolling around the grass. I like the extra security of a thumb break or strap.

I've done all that with that 637 in that CTAC and it has never, ever, moved out of the holster unless I wanted it to.

One advantage of most kydex holsters is that retention is adjustable with the turn of a screw. But even when retention is increased, due to the nature of the material the gun pops right out once you break the resistance.

A short barreled pistol in a kydex holster is lightning fast on the draw. My 637 and my 3" 29 are both carried IWB in kydex and they are incredibly fast in presentation.

Five bucks buys a simple, slip one, suede IWB holster off Ebay. That's what I have. Works fine. If you use it in conjunction with a clip draw on the gun itself, it is going to stay put, save perhaps if someone is holding you by your ankles and shaking you.

A Bianchi #3 pocket pistol holster is what your looking for,it is a great IWB holster.Don't let pocket pistol name misled you it is IWB.

As stated before, IWB does not require snap retention. Your belt and body will retain it very well.
OWB is a different story....I prefer snap retention for OWB.
A real Gunbelt is a necessity, and almost more important than the holster itself.
I have a trunk full of holsters and other type gun rigs to prove what works.
BTW, if you don't like the advice, just buy a large trunk for your own collection.

I find thumb breaks unnecessary in OWBs as well. I only buy custom boned holsters, so the pistol is retained by the glove like fit. The gun will NOT fall out on its own.

I am not concerned about gun grabs. No one knows I have a gun on me and I am not a plain clothes cop who ocassionally has to go hand to hand with scumbags.

I have many IWB holsters from Wild Bills Concealment. My first holster I ordered, I ordered IWB with a thumb break. He told me it
was unessasary I ordered it anyhow. After a short time I cut the thumb break off and all my other holster from him were without it.

I too bought a model 6L "small revl" Bianchi IWB many moons ago. I was just thinking about cutting the thumb break off the other day. It doesn't exactly fit a centennial frame real swell, buts it's adequate better for external hammer J frames. I bought the thumb break when I was young and thought that I might actually need to run with holstered gun. Now days when a younger 40 or 50 year old women is advancing on me with only one thing on her mind. I blow my rape whistle and scream like a little boy. Works pretty good deterring those women bycracky. Course my ugly old geezer face helps too. From fertile minds comes fertilizer.

Thanks everyone. I found a new desantas in the bargain bin for 7 bucks. It can be worn IWB and OWB.
