Fit?

Thanks

OWB Georgia Snap holster by R Grizzle (R Grizzle Leather - Home) :

I have used one of these every day for the last two years. It has been through training and practice and carry without a single complaint. While I normally carry a 1911, I have one for my M&P 45 and it is fantastic. I can't say enough good stuff about his work.

I've tried a handful. And I've concluded the best bang for your buck is the hybrid made by Gavin at http://www.firearmholster.com/

I now have 3 of his for our Shields, and ordered another last week for my M&P 9 FS.

Hand made, with black or brown leather, and custom stitching in a rainbow of colors for less than $50.00. He only offers BLACK or Carbon Kydex. Check out the example pics on his website. AND he will do you leather belt loops also.

He does leather/Neoprene/fleece backing. Very comfortable, and they just work. His website needs some work, especially with the thread colors/double stitch options, etc. And YES, you can wear in IWB or OWB. He'll even double stitch the OWB slots for you in whatever color combination you want. You just need to remember to communicate exactly what you want under the comments section when you order. He typically runs 1-3 week for turn around.

Celtic Holsters. I use the hybrid wee model with the single IWB belt clip. The comfort is the best I've experienced. Run about $60.00. I have several of the plain Janes but you can customize them if that's your thing.

I've purchased the following over the last year and found pros and cons for each. Here goes...

N82 Tactical Pro $75 shipped. It's really comfortable in all weather. It seems to add a bit of a bulge when tucked, at least on me. The locking system when drawing takes a bit of training, but it's not bad. I wish it had a combat cut because it is a bit hard to get a full purchase on the grip, but again can be solved with some training.

Aliengear Hybrid $38 shipped. Very comfortable and easy to use, as far as putting on and taking off. Can't, ride height and retention are all adjustable. I've haven't worn this one a lot since I've only had it for a few weeks.

Rubicon Tactical $38 shipped. All kydex and my favorite. It adds no bulk, form fits completely to the pistol And is tuckable. It's very easy to put on and take off.

One thing I've learned is if you don't have the right belt, your wasting your money on holsters. For that I bought a Wilderness Trainer 5-stitch. Best investment yet.

YouTube has videos for all of these. Here's a pic of the three. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1420077531.477012.jpg
