I purchased a IWI Tavor SAR today, got what I thought was a pretty good deal, so I took a chance.

Does anyone have any experience with them?

I seem to remember some didn't like the trigger, but I also seem to remember that there was a replacement trigger available for them.

Just curious as to any thoughts, and/or suggestions on it/them.

Thanks in advance!

I acquired mine from a gentleman who upgraded the trigger to a Timney.

I have no experience with the original trigger.

It is an amazing rifle.

I put the titanium Suppressor on it, but I need to get some subsonic ammunition to see if it cycles.

Thanks for the info.!

So I can assume you have no regrets with it?

I have one that has a few thousand rounds through it and still has the original trigger. The trigger is kind of like a Glock's. That is, it's not the best but you can learn to use it. One thing I really like about tbe Tavor is that you can fire it off either shoulder unlike most bullpups. Makes it much easier to work around corners. Accuracy is so-so but I never expected a benchrest rifle, and function has been flawless. Never had a jam with it. All in all, it has been a fine rifle and I have never regretted buying it. I also like it better than the new model. Run properly, I think it is easier and maybe faster to use.

No regrets. It’s a fun rifle.

It is more accurate than a X95.

I Ike being able to shoot one handed, too.

I haven’t tested my Suppressor on it, though.

Excellent!

Thank you for the information!

I think I'll try the original trigger for a while then, before I make any decisions.
