J frame grip clip

The DeSantis clip grip came as standard from the factory on my 637 PC "Wyatt" revolvers and the 442 PC "pinto" guns commissioned by Chattanooga Shooters Supplies. On all 4 guns, I replaced the grips with boot grips. I found the plastic clip grips difficult to hold as they felt slippery in my hand. Also, the "clip" feature was too short and insufficient to hold the gun in place in a IWB position. Hope this helps.

I have the DeSantis clip grip on my 340 and use the clip mostly with pocket carry, although then it is kind of open carry. The clip isn’t really long enough over a thick belt, so I don’t carry it IWB with the clip part. I prefer the frame mounted clips for that method. The plastic is durable with some serrations to allow enough texture, so it’s not the worst type of grip for shooting. Overall I find the clip useful enough to outweighs its shortcomings. Plus it still fits in my IWB holster.
