Hi All,
I was looking to see if anyone on here has info with pictures on a j frame grip problem I ran into.
I pick ed up a SW 642 UC a bit back to add to the J frame stable. I love the VZ boot grip because of the K frame feel.
The one thing I noticed is that a get a painful snap on the grip hand inner thumb at the thumb joint hand point.
My wife had the same problem. We even swapped out the grips to my 640 pro. Same problem. When we go back to the regular j frame boot grip from VZ we are good again, minus the k frame feel.
I broke out the dremel and worked the high horn part on the VZ boots and it def helped but its not perfect. Im almost thinking about cutting the top part of the VZ off then re shape
My question is, for the people that have the Hamre forged LOW horn spegels, Does this fix the problem?
Giving the k frame feel without the pain bc of the high horn
Thanks in advance
Dave
