I was wondering if any one put an adjustable 2LB Jard Trigger on there S&W 15-22 with a slidefire? And does it work.

Not with a SlideFire, but I have the 2 lb Jard in my 15-22. Excellent aftermarket trigger.

Here is a video of me shooting my 15 22 with slide fire and Jard 1.5 lb. adjustable trigger. I'm positive the 2 lb. trigger will work too.

M and P 15 22 / Slide Fire mag dump - YouTube

It works great! I have a sight, a forward grip, and a single point sling attached and the extra weight does not affect it. I set the trigger up where it has about 1/16" of travel before it breaks and it is a single stage trigger so there is a fast reset.

Easy installation if you are mechanically minded at all. Get it. You won't regret it.

Mine will do 7 shot bursts and then stops. It Loaded a shell in chamber but acts like the firing pin was not cocked and the trigger does not fire the pin. Hope that makes since.

One other thing about the Jard trigger and it's use in a 15 22 slide fire combo. The Jard comes with a plate that keeps your pins from walking out on you so there is no need to purchase anti walk pins.

Try putting a little less forward pressure on it. I believe you might be pushing a little too hard and cancelling out the recoil.
I've had the same result a few times. All it takes is a little practice. My technique that works great for me is to grab the mag well and put my thumb behind it inside the trigger guard. There is not much room for both your thumb of your support hand and your trigger finger inside the trigger guard so your thumb and finger kind of bounce off of each other if that makes any sense.

I believe it is a dual stage. One other thing about the Jard trigger and it's use in a 15 22 slide fire combo. The Jard comes with a plate that keeps your pins from walking out on you so there is no need to purchase anti walk pins.

No, there is no plate with the Jard, not on any I have seen and none is mentioned in any of the documentation. None is needed. The pins are held in place exactly like the factory FCG.

There IS plate available for the Timney.

And the factory trigger is single stage.

Yes there is a plate with my jard. You will need it to. The pin will slide out.

It just dawned on me that you all are referring to the modular, drop in replacement Jard and not the regular mil-spec trigger.

Sorry for the confusion.

I have a Jard two stage but it's on my .308

Factory trigger is single stage & probably what you'd want for a slide fire, not sure because I don't have one of them.

Here is the trigger I have.

Jard Adjustable Trigger AR-15 Small Pin .154 1-1/2 lb Single Stage

It doesn't say that it comes with a plate but it does. The hammer spring kept the trigger pin in place but the hammer pin walked out when using the slide fire. I put that plate in there and problem solved.
