The company I work for has won a bid in Jacksonville. Any of you guys know where to shoot and hang out. I will shoot indoors but prefer outdoors. Thanks,
Mike

Definitely try Gateway Rifle & Pistol Club in Jacksonville. Great outdoor range, everything from claybird to benchrest to bullseye, and a very popular IDPA club (www.firstcoastidpa.com). Great bunch of people, very nice facility.

Gun Gallery on Beach Blvd for shooting inside, Nice people.
Bullseye Gun Range, no comment.
Gateway R&P Club is nice for outside target shooting.

If you like shotgun sports, Jacksonville Skeet and Trap Club on New Berlin rd, again, nice people. WW Sporting Clays west of town for SC.

I am a third generation resident of Jacksonville and a guns and hunting nut, and I love it here. We have a lot to offer in the way of restaurants, beaches, fishing, parks and entertainment. Also have some good Gun and Pawn shops.

I hope you enjoy your stay.

Thanks guys. I'm looking forward to being there. I will be staying in Dames Point while there so it will be back and forth across the bridge every day. My boss lives there and has a 24' Ranger bay boat so we will be fishing. Can't wait!

Definitely Gateway R&P Club. From where you will be, it's a pretty long drive but worth it. If the same people are still running it, I agree with the no comment on Bullseye Indoor Gun Range. I'm not familiar with Gun Gallery on Beach Blvd. but that's fairly close to you using 9A to get over to Beach. If you're going to be there for a while, a membership in Gateway might be worth it.

Gateway is the best outdoor range. Has 200 yard rifle and less, multiple pistol and shotgun, and if you go with a member you can shoot the knock down steel plates at several members only ranges.
