Hi:
I purchased a pair of "Carhartt Relaxed Fit Straight Leg" jeans at Tracter Supply.
Is there a style of jeans that is 15oz 100% cotton denim that has a higher waist, larger pockets, and roomery legs?
The Carhartt seven belt loops are nice but I would like a pair of jeans that has a higher waist.
Thanks, Jimmy

Those of us that remember Korea and for that matter Nam seem to have the same problem expanding waist and shrinking butt. Hard to fit Jeans I still wear 32 waist but need the seat size about 29. Gravity has went the wrong way. No butt syndrome . I used to laugh at guys that wore suspenders. Now I know why. If you find the perfect jeans for the problem let me know. 560 feel great for room but it looks like I have room for a bag of potatoes in the seat. Age it beats the alternative...

I feel your pain! All my pants have that problem and the solution is to have a tailor take a handful of cloth out of the seat at the same time they hem them. It adds to the cost of the pants, but they sure look and feel a lot better.

Up north here a guy can go to GoodWill store and try on jeans from a ton of different makers. The price is right...slightly used...ain't like you're gonna wear them out anyway... LOL

:) I wear bib overalls and love them. They are so confortable. You really can't beat them. Also if you have got a itch you can scratch it no matter where it is. :D:D Don

Ah,yes,the heartbreak of DGS!Diminished Gluteal Syndrome.Or as it's commonly known"Gone Butt."!

Mrs. Chad works at Carhartt, so I get to wear lots of their stuff. Please have another look at their jeans. They have four levels of fit (traditional, relaxed, loose and dungaree), so something should work! :D

Carhartt - Category - Pants, Jeans, & Shorts

FWIW, none of them have deep enough front pockets for me. I have my wife extend one to better hold my protector. My favorite are the double front dungarees (except in the summer). ;)

Check out the Lands End web site. I don't know whether one of their offerings will address your specific problem, but it won't hurt to look. The reason I buy all my jeans from Lands End is that they will hem them to any length (in 1/4" increments) for no additional charge.

Duck butt? Well wonder if I should get rid of my suspenders and get them?

I don't see the problem here.
Looks good to me!

I just got my new "Spring Line" catalog from Omar the Tent maker. Lots of new, cool stuff for the full figured fellow. Omar says back in the old country his employees only take 15 minute "Allah breaks" insuring low labor costs. I have buns of steel and gut of jello. My waist size is movin on up.

Actually the old type of levies 501 button front fit pretty good allow some gut over hang. However who ever makes the button holes as small as possible doesn't understand the physical limitations of a guy in his 70s....When you have to go you don't have all that much time to do a refit of button to button hole dance. You know that dance! Standing there fumbling with buttons in front of the urinal is not that macho. Growing old is not for wimps believe me.

I can highly recommend J.C.Penney's Arizona Loose Fit jeans. Longer in the stride, wider in the hips and legs. Hard to beat at about $30. They wear as long as the Levis and Wranglers. Everything Carhardt makes in pants is too short for anybody carrying a little extra or over 6'. Three or four times a year, they run them BOGOF. That's when I buy 'em! :D
