Mike, appreciate the photos. They tend to confirm my 'hunch' about Bruce's holster being a self modified Threepersons. Started my career in '73 at a small urban PD while attending college. Used to hang out at Melvin Tyler's and the old OCPD range in off time visiting with folks who knew Bryce. Although I never met him, his name would come up along with others when ever guns and gunfightin' were discussed.

We have probably beat this dead horse about enough. Thanks for all the
good information, photos, etc. Based on all we now know I think it is
reasonable to believe Jelly used a Myres Threepersons holster perhaps
with some personalizing to suit his tastes. For example, he undoubtedly
would want his holster kinda loose (as opposed to tight) to facilitate his
blazing fast draw.
If anyone is acquainted with Ron Owens it would be interesting to find
out what he was referring to in Legendary Lawmen when he referred to
Jelly developing the FBI's concealed holster.

One is for a Colt OP. The other is Sam Meyers
not sure what it fits.

Looks to be considerably larger than the Heiser and maybe an inch
longer. Maybe a pre N Frame with 5" barrel?
