I would like to see a double action j-frame (shrouded hammer) .357/.38sp, that also would take an alternate 9mm cylinder, kinda like the Ruger Blackhawk's only in a sweet little double action Smith and Wesson j-frame.
Moon clips not necessary...:) Speedloader compatible.

I have a decent M36 cylinder+assembly I'd be happy to sell you for your 9mm idea.

The moon clips would be necessary for ejection unless you intend to push the empties out one at a time with a pencil.

Yup, you're right...the moonclips would be necessary on the 9mm rounds.

I was just dreaming about the M&P340, and maybe it would be better in a 640like weapon(all stainless steel). I actually HAVE a 442 that I would like to get an extra cylinder converted for...if possible/safe.

I did find a guy that does these conversions...but I still have some questions about 9mm pressures...in a "converted" .38special cylinder.

But, send me a PM on that M36 cylinder...I may want it for the future, anyway.

I also mispoke when I said with a "shrouded" hammer, when what I REALLY meant was a fully enclosed ("centennial style") hammer.
