Just bought a 2002 Kawasaki Mule 3010 *Lights Added*

I just bought this 3 days ago from a friend. It was his grandads who lived in Northern Michigan and recently passed away. My friend wanted it to go to a good home and knew that I would take good care of it. I spent about 12 hours the past 2 days detailing it. It's been well maintained and wasn't in too bad of shape when he dropped it off this past Sunday. Just needed a little TLC but everything works perfectly on it.

2002 Kawasaki Mule 3010 w/1486 hours. Clean Title.
600cc Liquid Cooled Twin Cylinder Engine
2x4/4x4 with Rear Differential Lock
Completely Enclosed Cab
Heater - Windshield Wiper - Winch - Plow Blade
New(er) Tires w/Spare Tire
Radio & Speakers

I got it for $3,500.00. I didn't think that was too outrageous of a price tag.

I plan on adding a LED light Bar and maybe a few other goodies.

Just in time for Summer!

That plow blade will probably come in REAL handy when this winter shows up, and you might want to invest in some tire chains too, [if they are available]. And that heater will get a work out too!

In some states, Mississippi included, you can drive them on county roads as long as you have the slow moving sign on the back like yours does.

Good buy, especially equipped as it is. I have owned side by sides with no doors, heater, wiper, etc., not fun plowing snow in -35 degree temps. !
I finally bit the bullet in late Jan. and sold my old unit and bought a new Polaris with all the goodies.
Yep, adding a snow plow would be a huge benefit being in your location. In my area, you can license them for road use. I do not take mine on the highways, but live in a rural area near a huge lake and halfway up a mountain with lots of back roads around. As a favor , I can plow out myself, as well as neighbors & retirees who are unable to do it themselves .

You did real good at $3500. Keep a coat of wax on all the metal. That twin cylinder motor will last forever. But the down fall of the older Mules was always the metal rusting. I looked at a used one back in 2013 when I bought my Ranger. Definitely more utility than sport. When you install light bar consider putting a couple 4” pods on back. I use mine more than the big bar up front. Oh yeah, and a gun rack of some sort. I use a double gun case from Cabelas that is heavily padded and attaches to back rack. Really protects long guns.

Congrats on the new acquisition! I have a Yamaha Rhino. Got it new twelve years ago. I have a snow blade for it which is extremely helpful out here during the winter. Again, congrats!

Yep, I plan on putting rear white LEDs on it. Nice buck by the way!
I did install a small fan in it today. Even with the windows open it gets a little stuffy in the cab. The fans helps cool it off.

Added some off-road LEDs on it today. 22" duel color light bar (white on top and amber on the bottom), in the middle and two 3" amber cube lights on each corner. It took me a few hours, but I did my usual OCD job. You can't hardly see any wires.

Probably not. LOL But I will add at least 1 white LED light in the rear.

I removed the overhead counsel radio/cassette/speaker unit. The sound sucked and the cassette player instantly ate my Merle Haggard tape! I'm just going to run a JBL Bluetooth speaker velcro'ed to the dashboard.

Cool set up. Can u take the doors off that cab in the summer? I put a roof on my Ranger and I have a removable windshield that I really only use when ice fishing. Keeps the wind off you when you’re blasting across the lake.

Yep. Just pin hinges. Just have to remove the cables that keep the doors from swinging open too far. 5-minute job. I'll be riding around the dirt roads around my house, so I'll keep the doors on. They'll keep the road noise and dust down. The windows slide open, and I have a fan in the cab that'll keep me nice and cool in the summer.
