I found a 29-2 from ~1980 at a pawn shop for a cash price that I couldn't pass up! Just 850 out the door! There's a little bit of discoloration on the cylinder but the gun is otherwise in fantastic shape and includes the presentation box and papers. I'm super pumped up, can't wait to take it to the range!

That's awesome. Congratulations!!!!

I have a M29-2 from 1964 that I've never shot but plan to.

That's a Beauty, I'm picking one up this week, same exact gun without the case and tools, your grips look nicer, $700. I'd rather pay the extra $$ for the case and tools

The stocks look absolutely brand new. Not a single dent in any of the checkering. I think the previous owner put a box of ammo through it and then didn't touch it for 40 years!

Thanks for the replies, everyone!

You and Breadman1 got absolute steals. I have one with a nickel finish and a 4" barrel. It cost me significantly more.

The picture you posted tells me it has a 8-3/8" barrel, is that so? You made a great deal on this one. It's really a Jesse James deal, were you wearing your mask? I picked up a real nice 29-2, 6-1/2" a couple of years ago with no extras for about the same price.
