They had some stuff, so I picked up the last two boxes of .38's and a box of .40 S&W.
They have more .40's there, I didnt get them all!
3 boxes of 100 count was all my wallet could handle.
This was not a 7:00 am morning run either. it was 4:30 in the afternoon and I thought I would just take a look while buying some groceries.
Could hardly believe my eyes when I saw the .38's!

Oddly I just returned from the small Wallmart near us and they also had some ammo. No bulk 22LR but individual boxed of Rem in LR and short, a couple choices in 223, 222, 40, and 357. Actually other than 223 just about any rifle ammo normally stocked by the big box stores is available.

Congratulations. I scored at Wally World this weekend too. Got 2 winchester value packs (100 rds) on sat eve. Happened back in there Sunday and grabbed 2 more. 27.xx a box, not bad.

I picked up three boxes of Winchester 38 Special 130 gr FMJ at WalMart for $31.97 box today. Also three boxes of Winchester value pack 9mm 115 gr FMJ for 20.97 per box. They had more of each on the shelf plus 44 mag, 357 sig and 32 acp. And this was at 7:30 PM.

I found some 38 special at my local gun shop in Arvada Colorado. Been checking Walmart nearby, they have a bunch of 9mm but nothing else.

Went early today, to 3Wal-Marts in my area, 9 to 11 am, SCORED 3 value paks, .38spl, 3 vps .45acp ball, 3 boxes Blazer Brass .45acp ball, and 3 boxes WWWB .45acp 230gr jhp. I left ammo everywhere, too.

Last night I swung by the local box store for some milk and checked out the sproting goods while I was there. Much to my surprise they had everything that they normally stock ammo wise except 25 ACP, 380 and 22 bulk packs. They were even running a sale on Winchester 7.62x39. I have not seen a ammo sale of any kind for a while. After all the shortages the $12.99 sale price actually looked good. However bulk packs of 45 ACP were almost $50!!!!
I'm trying to remember the last time I bought factory 45 ACP, must have been early 80's, so my perspective is off.

I'm starting to think it's like gasoline Red?
It doesn't matter what price it used to be. Your eventually just grateful to be able to get some of it, even though the new price floor is 40% higher than before. Even at $25 per 50 rounds of .45ACP coming out to 50 cents a pop, it's still half of what I saw it being sold for at the high water mark. Sad commentary.
