Got a couple or three items lately in auctions and.esate sales. Yesterday I got a couple of RCBS tools. One was a Lub-a-matic sizer/luber. It had a broken handle...otherwise as new with a 358 sizing die. Also traded a box of Win 410 paper shells for a RCBS A4 Mongo Big Max Press. Called RCBS to try to get a handle for the Lub-a-matic...Talked to the really neat fellow there who said he's worked for RCBS for 48 years. Sending me a new operating handle at no charge... with what I paid I'm going to set this sizer up to size 32 caliber bullets for the 16-4. Customer service like that deserves praise. The Big Max press is like new but missing the automatic shellholder head...and RCBS has no parts for the A4. But it'll be fine with the regular shellholders. Darn thing must weigh 30 pounds...And in the S&W line I bought a whole bunch of cleaning supplies in an auction for 10 bucks...must have at least 50 new bore and chamber brushes...in the batch of stuff was an unopened cleaning rod brush swab and SAT with the manual for a Model 19......Just wanted to give a little praise to RCBS giving great service in an era where CS is somewhat suspect

RCBS has taken great care of me on the few occaisions I needed their support. Firstly, their equipment has just worked tirelessly for me. If I had a hint of a problem, they were right there to take care of it.

You are so right. In a time where customer service is suspect, RCBS is a standout!

I’m glad you had good results with RCBS. These days, it seems like good service is noteworthy.
I like to have loading gear dedicated to my most often used calibers. There’s a Lyman 450 on my bench that has had a .313 die in it for years. I’ve also got a Lyman All American turret press set up more or less permanently for 327 Fed Mag.
I wouldn’t be bothered by the lack of the automatic primer on the press. I always use a hand primer unless I’m using a progressive press.

I bought my first set of reloading dies in 1967 ... 58 years ago ???
Dang time flies when you having fun ...
And the Gunshop Owner told me to get the RCBS ( they were the best for the money ) 38 Special Dies , that way I could load both 38 spcl and he showed me how to adjust for 357 Magnum ... No Regrets , I'm still useing those same dies and maybe replaced a de-capping pin once .
RCBS is still my favorite for all reloading tools ... good customer service is a big part of it also !

I was offered an old set of dies...key word OLD...I think they were date coded1948 or 49...on The Brit caliber 500/450. No decapping rod...the Fellow at RCBS told me he would send a decapping rod...but I didn't buy them... I once talked with Fred Huntingdon as Iwas looking for a tapered pin for the A2 press that held the upper ram in...Long discontinues...He actually had one of the machinist's make me one...and didn't charge me for the work...said no big deal..He'd have him make 10 so they would have some. Seems as though RCBS is continuing Fred's business model as well as can be done in today's business climate. I've got a lot of RCBS reloading tools

BTW my first RCBS tools was a set of Rock Chuck Bullet Swage dies and press bought used in 1959...so I could make bullets for my Savage 340 22 Hornet

I'm in the "RCBS has great CS" camp, with same experience as others, picking up older equipment over the years and RCBS makin' it all right.

RCBS CS has always been great for me, when I’ve needed a part they’ve always taken care of me at no charge, even when the problem was self imposed.

Agreed on all accounts.
RCBS manufacture's good product and stands behind it.
Granted a small part, but I contacted RCBS for a small part needed for a hand primer that had used for about two years. It is plastic and simply wore out.
No questions asked, except where to ship the part....free of charge.
Great to deal with!

I bought a used RCBS Jr. press at a gun show. It was missing the primer arm. I called RCBS. The fellow asked if I had bought it new. I told him where I got it and he gave me a telephone number to call for the arm. I called and it was Midway.

Ditto on the awesome customer service. They helped me rebuild my dad's original Rockchucker some years back. A few weeks ago I needed seater plugs for a set of 1957 dated 32 S&W Long dies. No charge, and I received a set of SWC and WC plugs a week later.

RCBS has always taken good care of me. Most recently, they replaced my vintage Rock Chucker's spent primer tray, no questions asked. Great customer service!!

My first press was a used RCBS Partner back in around '76 or so. I soon graduated to a Rockchucker and am still using that well worn press to this day. If I was a more dedicated pistol shooter I would get a Dillion, I bought one to try out and found myself wishing I had just kept up with the RCBS for all the fiddling and fooling around for a couple hundred rounds. If I was doing thousands I would have kept it. The only company I have dealt with service as good is Leopold, they once went completely through a very early vintage scope I had and returned it better than ever, no charge. They told me that it was one of the earliest scopes they had ever seen, had Leopold spelled out in a curving arc.

Purchased two new RCBS Primer Catcher Pans for my Rock Chucker Presses
from Amazon. Both came without the rear clip to secure the pan to the Press. Telephoned RCBS Customer Service to purchased the clips.
I was told that replacement clips were not available due to the clips being "Punched" out with the Pans ?? I was advised to use rubber bands ?
