Can someone please give me the manufacture date on a K22
model 17-4? Much appreciated.

1977 -88. Pinned barrel left around 1982.

If you want to get an estimate any closer than '77 to '82, you need to provide the serial number.

Mine is a Model 17-4 and the serial number is 95K1498. It is pinned and recessed too. A S/N will nail down what year it was made.

Roy says mine shipped in May 1981. Yours is maybe a few months earlier I think although you can't really tell by the serial number exactly - it's just a guess without access to the shipping records.

Both the 94K and 95K numbers were issued in 1981.
