I have a Model 14-2 from 1967 and it is by far the most accurate pistol I own. Enjoy yours.

Most times, I prefer the short action of my 14-3. The hammer doesn't block the view of the sights in double action. Still, my M&P .38 is an inherently accurate gun, even without adjustable sights. My 1905 4th is just a lot of fun to shoot, now that I've removed the lanyard ring that was gouging my hand with every shot. Is "Pix" an invitation to show pictures (again)?
