What's your favorite OWB holster for model 19s or 66s 2.5 inch? I'm thinking leather and 4:00 position. Also would like to see the snap on belt loops to allow easy on and off.

Hey DAdams,
I use a Galco Speed Scabbard for OWB. On their current website, they call it something else...but it is the classic high ride OWB with belt slots. Need a good solid gun belt to support it close to the body.

For IWB, I have a brand-new Tucker Texas Heritage for sale in the classifieds! Great quality, but for me (skinny waist) the belt loops are too close together, preventing me from finding a good spot to wear it. (need something that bends around the waist, so that I can wear weapon at 3:30ish)

Good luck, and be sure and report back!

I use a Bianchi Cyclone 111, I like a cross-draw holster and the Bianchi can be worn strong-side or cross-draw......fits my 2 1/2 inch mod-19 or my 3 inch mod-13. :)

My favorite is a Don Hume JIT. I also have a Bianchi Shadow, which has a thumb break.

+1 on Don Hume JIT. It doesn't snap on, but it is a fantastic holster and at $25-$30 You can buy one in each color and be cheaper then a lot of what's out there. I have one for my 2.5"K as well as my 1.78"J.

I have a Model 10 that I was going to let my mom use but I haven't been able to find an OWB without a 3-4 month waiting period. Is the Model 10 similar in size to other K frame to where I could find a holster? I have 2 Lobo holsters, one for a Sig 229 and a Sig 220. That may be my best option.

If you are happy with the Lobo, I say stick with what works for you. The JIT is an open bottom holster so any K-frame will fit it, but I don't think I would use it for anything longer then 3". How long is the barrel on your Model 10?

Got to agree with the Lobo. I have a enhanced owb from Lobo and it is the most comfortable holster I've worn for the m19 2.5". Conceals very well too.

I have the Lobo snap loop pancake for my 2.5" M66. It's a well-made holster at an excellent price and very reasonable turn-around time.

Here is my Kramer paddle. I really like the fit and finish.

I like the Lobo Improved Pancake, this one's for a 2.5 inch Model 19.

It's has a 2 1/2" barrel.

I have 66-4 2.5" and use a Kramer horsehide Scabbard OWB holster. Its built like a tank and the fit and finish is superb. It took about 8 or 9 weeks for me to get it but once I fianlly got it, I felt it was definitelty worth the wait. Matter of fact, I recently had the great fortune of locating a 66-4, 3" magna port, RSR gun for sale and I'm most likely gonna order the same holster for it.

Gave my Tucker Texas Heritage IWB another chance today...
And discovered that it is comfortable...and tucks up reasonably close to my body.
For me, it still seems like I would be better served with belt loops that are further apart...allowing me to let the weapon ride just behind the hip, and the belt loops curving around my waist more.
(which would probably tuck the gun much closer to my body)

Anyway, anything from Tucker Gunleather would be worth your while. Quality, solid performance from a great guy.
