I have one of these. Picked up an 18-3 that someone had converted to a 32 S&W Long & a 32/20. The work was meticulously done except for 1 thing that ruined it all They took a 19?? bbl & sleeved it but used the wrong liner. It is .300/.3065. Should be .306/.312. The cylinders appear to be rimfire bored out. The throats are .3122 on all.
I have a new 6" K-32 bbl,a new 6" pre-war .32 target bbl & several .22 6 & 8 3/8" bbls that I can bore out. I am thinking that a .22 bbl all fluted up & a skinneyed up rib would be neat & so very diff. I don't have a lot in it & would get my $$ back however I go.
Talked to Hamilton Bowen about it & he refused the job. Not his style of work, someone else touched it,too busy, etc.
Oh well, will find someone good. I do also have a 5 screw K-32. They are neat guns.
