Well I have decided to use my recently aquired 67-1 4in s.b. for carry. Ray (LOBO) made me one of his new style IWB holsters with the clip to the rear of the cylinder reducing the bulkk, works great. But I soon discovered the Pacs were just too big for carry. So I went to the original PC service grips, these conceal a little better. But I really need something to fill a little of the space behind the trigger guard. So I'm looking for some help with grips, maybe some boot grips? Seems all the boot grips I see are for round b. Does anyone make a good carry boot grip for the square b?

Well, while you waiting for a grip to be made for you, I would recommend the BK grip in the meantime. It purty cheap and works very well. Only drawback it is not very pretty.

Two suggestions: a) adding a grip adapter with the service grips or b) finding a pair of Uncle Mikes/Butler Creek boot grips. Unfortunately, these boot grips are no longer produced but can be found used. And then there are others producing wooden boot grips (Spegel, Eagle).

Works for me...

Spegel. The square butt boot grips are fantastic. I have both round and square butt grips for a K-frame, and they are worth the money.

fkimble, I put a BK grip adapter on my 10-8, and it fits nicely in my hand. He offers different color options. I believe for a K frame, it is $30.00 shipped. Did not take long to receive. Bob

Pachmayr Compact Pro is the only way to go. The undercover cops recommend it. I have them on my J's and M 65 3".

Several good choices have been mentioned. The Spiegel and Ahrends grips are functional and attractive.

The BK adapter fits and works great-I have one on my model 65 Lady Smith.

Altamont also makes a boot grip available from gungripsupply.com

Here's an image from the Ahrends website of their square butt boot grips:

Pachmayr Comac Pro I would totally agree, but they don't make it for square frames. Otherwise it would be all I had.
