K frame snub .22

Can anyone tell me if S&W ever made a snub nose (2 or 2 1/2 inch) K frame revolver in .22 caliber? Or is the Colt Diamondback the only such animal. Thanks.

Not that I ever heard of. Get a kit gun or live with a 4" K-22 Combat Masterpiece. That 2-1/2" Diamondback will set you back some serious coin.

chad, thanks for confirming what I suspected. I was just thinking that a nickel 2 inch model 10 in .22 would be a lot of fun to shoot. J frames just don't feel right to me.

Or you could do what S&W did not.
Chop the barrel on a K-frame .22
I have, and i must tell you i looks good (to me anyway) and shoot good too. I bought a M-18 in about 60% finish so the pain when cutting the barrel was not to bad.

And now a M-617 is about to face the same treatment

Of course, i compete with these here in Norway in what is called "spesial-felt"
