These round butt K&L frames are so versatile when it comes to grip options. My 617-3 came from the factory wearing Hogue monogrips and while they feel okay I couldn't stand the look of them. Originally the 617s came with Smiths excellent Combat Grips which are expensive and hard to find. So first I tried some Altamonts off my 686 and they look a lot better. But them I tried a set of VZs and they look and feel even better.
