Usually, parts will interchange over a wide range of years.
Is this 1905 a rimfire frame? If not, it will be a bit trickier. If you are rechambering the K22 cylinder to a centerfire caliber, the frame lug will have to be replaced or modified.

It should work just fine.
I once, just for curiosity, put the cylinder from my Model 1902 1st change .32-20 into my Model 16 K-32 and it worked just fine. I didn't fire any .32-20s in the Model 16 though, just wanted to know if it would work.
