Anybody have a link to the karma generator everybody is talking about. I thought I heard of someone on SigForum using one, and maybe some people here, too.
I tried to search for it here, but no luck. I dont' have a SF account, so I couldn't search there, either.

Thanks, wbw2.

So you have to be a member of SF and have a post there?

Hhhmmm, we're running a contest here at work and I need a way to randomly pick winners names "out of a hat".
I guess I could literally use a hat, but what's the fun in that.

Any other random generators out there anyone knows of that I could use? TIA

No, you can put the thread link from any site into the karmanator.

I've used it to pull winners from SigForum, RugerForum and here before.

OK, last question.

Since we are doing the contest here at work, there is no thread or link to enter on that site. Is there a way to just enter names only?

No, not on the karmanator, it is strictly an internet thread thing.

I believe I saw what you wanted some time ago, but I can't remember where.
If I remember I will email you the web address.

I guess I'll get back on the bicycle and start pedalling before the power goes out.

Or, at that same site, use their "List Randomizer."

Just enter the names, each on its own line, and hit the randomize button. The no. 1 name is your winner.

I use a Simple random number generator - open wallet, pull out a dollar bill, use any part of its serial number. Decide on which digits of the eight on the bill you are going to use BEFORE opening your wallet.

Works for me ...
