Keith Brown Grips?

I've been trying to contact Keith Brown (KB) Grips to place an order for his beautiful custom grips. The e-mail address listed on his web site doesn't work. I've called several times during the past week. You get a recording, but no one has returned my calls.
I know he is a one man shop, and might not be taking on new work at this time, or could be away, or have some other problems. Does anyone know the current status of this operation?

Keith was 2 years behind on orders and I "THINK" he quit taking orders so people wouldn't get mad. His email list was 350 or so, if he tried to eliminate some spending an hour or so one night, by the next evening he would have another 20 or more. Don't take this wrong but people ask some stupid questions when they could look at the web site and figure it out. He makes grips daily but he does have a life and family that needs attention plus yard maintenance etc. He is a great person but his excellent product is in great demand. Try to understand his situation, maybe put a want to buy add for a set. Larry

As an alternative, you might check out John Culina's grip offerings too. John can generally get them out within a 3-6 month time span. And his work is impeccable. Although if you want checkering done on them I don't know how much that adds to his time for getting you his stocks, as I always get mine smooth from him.

I was finally able to contact Keith, and did place an order. At 82 years old, I hope I'm still alive in two years or so, when the grips should be ready.
