Kimber K6xs - Alloy Frame - It is Finally Here

Haha S&W just one upped Kimber with a better aluminum frame revolver. I'm glad I waited. The sights alone on the S&W 642/442 will kill most of Kimber's K6sx sales. They dropped the ball by using gutter sights IMHO, and S&W knocked it out the park for once.

I disagree, this Senior Citizen greatly prefers the Kimber K6XS Front Sight. For my LEOSA Qualifications it has improved my groups and scoring.

Thanks for reviewing the Kimber K6xs. I bought one and was considering selling it to buy the 442 UC. I think I'll keep her and give it a chance. I like the 6th round. And have a Simply Rugged holster for it. A little heavier than my 340 PD But the third finger on the grip sure helps

I for one fail to see why Kimber decided to go with the recessed chambers. They only create extra nooks and crannies for unburned powder granules and other debris to accumulate and tie up the cylinder.

Picked up my K6XS about a month ago and Ive gone through 10 boxes of ammo. Zero issues. My 642 is now my night stand gun, as the Kimber is my go to carry gun. I just love the way it looks as well.
I hit 50% more targets with it..not exactly sure why..but it could be the way the trigger stages plus it just points more naturally. I like the recessed cylinder as it is faster on a reload plus it just looks more secure. 6 rounds always trumps 5!

Recess chambers like 'classic' S&W revolvers. I like all the nuances it has and the cylinder release is similar to Ruger which I like too.

If you cleaned revolvers in the Police Academy you know how to clean a revolver 200% clean.
