So after years of lusting over a nice 1911 I just bought a Kimber Pro Aegis II in 9mm. It's a beautiful gun! Out of the box it had LOTS of failure to feeds, eject, etc. After a few range sessions and good cleaning/lubing I put 475 fllawless rounds down range and began carrying it. That is, until this last range trip when i spontaneously kept having some nose dives under the feed ramp (failure to feed) while using winchester white box (first time shooting it). I have a call into Kimber and think its an ammo issue as it cycled my carry ammo just fine.

I've never shot anything as well as I shoot this (with my new Hi Power coming close in 2nd!)

Here are two photos - one before I got the sight picture down, and one after I got it down. Combat distance 7 yards off hand 5 shot groups.

I have the Ultra Aegis and have never had any problems with it feeding anything I have put through it . My only problem is it's so pretty I hate to holster it. So I still carry my old beat up Colt.

It is too damned pretty. I have been holstering it, carrying it, and using it in my combat league. It's showing wear already in the first 3 weeks, but I bought it to carry it. Only takes one blemish to get over it ;)

So did yours take a little to break in? any issues at all?
