my wife had both of hers done and she felt like a brand new woman...godspeed for a successful operation and quick recovery for you

I rejected a knee replacement back in October. Instead I had the knee scoped and most of my medial and lateral meniscus removed. Also had a piece of torn cartilage removed. My knee seems to working well and most of the pain I had in the past three years is gone. I'm not back to jogging yet, but hopefully soon. Another month or two and I'll know if I made the right decision.

Mrs. Pawncop had both knees replaced at the same time several years ago, it was absolutely life changing.

Do follow the physical therapy plan to the letter and then some.

Prayer for your complete healing and may Gods hand be on the shoulder of those caring for you.

Had both hips replaced a little over 3 months ago and I feel like a new man. Best wished to you.

Good luck guns prayers for you.

Had those done also didn't help waiting for my replacements now but their WC so it will take some time. Can't wait to get rid of the pain.

Good luck to you sir, and may the Lord guide your surgeon's hands. Follow the therapy no matter how many tears flow. I here tell it's do it now or you won't be able to do much later.

My day on the work bench is February 24 for the left knee. I plan of following all the therapy instructions and do as much extra as I can do.

Best of luck to you on your upcoming surgery. I had a right TKR on Oct 21. Recovery is a long journey but do the exercises and therapy you are given. A good website/forum is bonesmart.org they have a ton of info for both pre op and post op. I hope everything goes well.

Drs. know a lot today with knee replacing. You will be pain free and walking around.
I needed knee replacement for 6 years now but with my wifes 90 year old mom living with us, my wife ask me to hold off on surg. I bought tommy copper. Don't ask me how or why--i have no pain at all--any more. I do have it drained 2x a year and my Dr. can't believe it.... I can bent it also ----BUT when i take it off my knee and take a shower- i'm in pain--put it back on and in 20 min the pain it gone !!!!

Best wishes for a full recovery.

I hope all goes well for you. It is nice to read of these positive experiences, I wish things had gone that way for me. Major surgery is not as straight forward as it is sometimes presented.

Hey manys, I did the total replacement in Sept of '12 and went back to full duty 3 months later. Believe me, it's the best thing I've done since my third divorce. Do your therapy, especially your flexing, religiously... you'll be glad you did. Look at it this way - no matter how painful therapy seems, it's never as bad as your pain is now, before you get fixed. Best of luck!
