Knob Creek Fall Machine Gun Shoot 2010 Pics

So, After missing a meeting with Beltfed and bbaltered ( Delivery companies fault.. lonnnng story lol) I FINALLLY got to go to my own local gun range for the Machine gun shoot. So I figured I'd add a few pics of the Fall 2010 shoot. If any other members have pics of this shoot, I encourage you to post them here as well. Im assuming Beltfed has pics as well. Beltfed, bbaltered ..sorry about not being able to meet up with you in time man! Any way, on to the pics for those members that couldnt make it.

Looks like a good time, hope you had the ear plugs in. That would be truck loads or rounds down there that was shot.

Holy! What are those two monster cannons with the blue bullets? That's gotta be well larger than a .50 cal.

Those big blue-tipped rounds are 20mm (roughly .80 caliber). In case a .50 BMG isn't enough...

Exactly, and yes I had my ear plugs in. I was lucky enough( I had a buddy at the range that was firing) to be able to go PAST the retaining fence of where people stand to watch the show. And into the actual firing line itself to get a few of my pics, such as the fully auto 50 cal in action.( guy with the black colored "beligerent infidel" shirt on.) I didnt get to stay long onthe firing line, but I did get a few pics that way. Notice the MOUND of spent brass in the 3rd picture down. That was from ONE round of firing! The helicopter raining down a full auto set of tracers into a car packed with Tanerite( high exlosives) was PRICELESS!!! The tanks were great as usual as well! ( by this point the camera battery had died from all the videos I had taken) Im SO glad this twice a year show is at my local gun range and is only 30 minutes from my home. Lastly I swear put a military uniform on the guy in the 6th pic down and you got ANY Call of duty or shooting game's cover art for the box lol.

If you've never been there, you're missing out! That snub nose Browning .30 caliber sounds like a .50 when its shooting. I believe he also has an abbreviated .50 that makes an ungodly sound when its fired. Geez I'm getting a tingling feeling in my leg just thinkning about it!

down range is right its a complete blast just make sure you bring your billfold cause that place gets pricey quick... we were tere for 10 hours or so saturday and had to make 4 trips to the truck and rent the buggys every time..... im good on ammo till april

It was explosive at the least.

When you see the night shoot it's like an onslaught of tracers that you can't miss. On knob creek's website they have a video of it.

And for those that have never seen a "night shoot" before.. well get some wet naps for the drool your about to have.. The fireball at 4:21 is WELL worth waiting for!

Hey downrange sorry we missed you on sunday . I was so pissed that we missed the night shoot we wandered around for about an hour , and when we didn't find you we just left . I got your text about 10-15 mins after we left . Maybe next year .

You Guys that aren't from around the Bluegrass State haven't seen anything till you see a night shoot @ knob creek..
Nothing like the Mini-Gun spraying out 4000 rounds of tracers in about 15 seconds , looks like a laser, & the exploding 55 gallon drums of kero
I was there all day Friday trying to find deals at the gunshow..
Didn't buy a thing, My Buddy picked up a few magazines for his PPS-43 for $10ea & 1250 rounds of 7.62x25 for $100..

Went to Mt. Sterling "Court Days" Today & am hitting the 2100 Table gunshow in Louisville tomorrow.. Oh Yeah!!
Hoping to find "Something" Tomorrow????? Deals are sure hard to find now days..
