I've got to hit that one of these days.

On a road trip about 4 years ago, I drove right past the range; I knew it existed, but had no idea that I was in the neighborhood.

There's lots of "Gun Guys" from right here in Louisville & surrounding areas that don't know about this either..
I've been going twice a year for 15-20 years to the shoot..
It is without a doubt the best show & shoot I've ever been to..
Here's another Link with lots of pics & videos plus some clips of R. Lee Ermy aka Gunny who visits the shoot from time to time..

Anybody that's close enough to come should..
There's people that come from all over the world to see the shoot & have the thrill of the killer gunshow that Jr. Sumner started back in the 70s
Also if your going you might as well stop @ Biff's Gunworld to see Jr. on the way threw Valley Station KY..
His Son Kenny runs Knob Creek Range..
There a bunch of great folks & you never know what you'll see at either one of their gunshops..
I got something to do early tomarrow but will make it to the shoot around 12:30 if everything goes right..
I'll be the guy in camo carrying an asualt rifle..
Ha Ha That's everybody there..
But I will have a 940 in my pocket..

I accompanied my Nephew on his "senior trip". It was a great time. The family adjudicated me crazy enough to go and sane enough to keep him out of trouble. I still don't know how I feel about that.

The show & shoot last one more day..
It was a hoot while I was there Saturday..
I must have walked 15 miles while I was there & a couple was with 1000 44 magnum rounds..
My Buddy also bought a 50 round Galil magazine for his Galoni..
If you can make it stop bye & see, bring hearing & eye protection..

My friend "Machine Gun Mike" is up there and has a table or two set up with his goodies. He lives nearby and is a class III dealer and is the reason I have shot most every full auto ever made. He tried to get me to go help man his tables but I couldn't get off from work. Maybe next fall and then probaly all of them if I ever retire.
