I checked in here about a month ago with issues with my M&P22 that appeared to be the sear/hammer engagement. I contacted S&W service and sent it back for repair. They replaced the plunger and I had the gun back in 2 weeks from ship out to return and they gave me and extra 12 round magazine for my troubles! Easy to deal with and fast work in my book. Gun is A-OK now.

I've always had good experiences with S&W customer service the few times I had to call them (note: I said call, if you use the email route, you won't be satisfied, it's almost like dealing with 2 different companies )

I agree...CS was good...sent my BG380 back for slide not locking back, laser screw loose and FTF. Got it back in less than 2 weeks...however, the pistol still has issues with FTF's (which makes it useless for carry or self protection...its a ***...service was great but its hard to shine a ****!

Kudos almost

I took the gun to the range today and while the problem appeared fixed while dry firing, it'sdoing the exact same thing that it was doing prior to me sending it out. I'll try again. This has me bummed out now. It is obvious that nobody actually fired the gun after the repair. Although, it did seem to me after dry firing that all was OK so I can cut a bit of slack here. Let's see what happens this time around. This gun has been a problem child since the day I bought it with FTF's; FTE's; stovepipes; etc. so maybe it's just a lemon.

M&P 22 for 22a

Sent a beat-up 22A bought used 3 years ago for a slide lock issue. Two weeks later got a call from CS rep Larry. Turned out it had a cracked frame.
He informed me 22A parts were no longer available and asked if a new M&P 22 as a replacement would be OK . H*** to the yes! was my reply. Two weeks later my FFL had the gun. S&W is reimbursing the transfer fee to boot.
Thanks to Paul , Larry and Don for the best customer service from any company ever.
The poster above is correct, call don't email, you'll be glad you did.
