I have not been a fan of Kydec holsters, (on the other hand, never tried one), but I lost my favorite IWB holster somehow, and they are not available.

So a recent pass at the LGS I use, Survival Trail in Pipersville, PA, had a display of MFT, (Mission First Tactical), Kydecs, and I grabbed one for my Bodyguards. Well, another lesson in "don't pan it 'til you try it".

Very nice holster. Once adjusted, (it's adjustable), it comes out fast and easy, and goes back in just as slick. Some quick access drills, and I'm sold. Got some more stuff, (FFL stuff), coming, and my M&P 9's are getting a MFP for Xmas when I pick it up.

Kydex is a good material for IWB holsters because it can be very form-fitting for good retention, and it is very thin, so it adds less thickness to the firearm, making it less bulky and easier to conceal.

I like the Hybrid designs with a larger leather panel that goes up against the body and serves as the mounting point for the belt clips and a Kydex shell that is form fitted to the firearm attached to the side of the panel that faces out away from the body.

I have a Tagua that is designed to fit my Ruger LC9, and 2 Aliengear holsters, one with a shell for my Sig P65 and another that fits my Taurus PT145. All of them are very comfortable.
