Does anyone one know what years the Bianchi X15 shoulder holster was made with the shoulder strap attached via leather laces and did not have the top retainer strap? Thank you

Looked for my copy of John Bianch's Blue Steel and Gun Leather but something tells me I gave it away years ago. If you can locate a copy it may have the info you seek.

I had one I bought in 1976 that was as you described. Carried a Model 64 2" in it. Sold it to a friend around 1984. Wish I still had it!!!! I still have the M64. The revolver was held in by the spring tension of the holster.

Bought my X-15 Medium in black in 1981 IIRC. It uses laces. Still have it. Great and versatile rig that works well with 4" K frames and 1911s both. Can also hold a 4" L frame, but not as securely as there's too much outward tension on the spring.
