Frank I missed it too. But having made it several times in the past, I would suggest that we didn't miss much. Louisiana Joe went to one in Covington and said it was a total waste of gas.
As far as the building they hold the Lafayette show in, let's just say that I've been to cock fights held in nicer places.
I actually found something at that show about 10 years ago. I didn't go to that one or Covington, actually Mandeville, because we're headed up to the great frozen north for the big show at Louisville next weekend. Maybe Burg will bring his snow blower and let me play with it.
Caj, never saw a worse place to have a gunshow. Wish they would stick all that ninja **** back where the ammo guys are. I went to the one before that and actually bought a bubba'd chilean 1895 7mm rifle. Bubba sure had his way with that one. Muzzle looked like it had been cut with one of those pipe cutters like the plumbers use. Bought it for parts for another Chilean 1895 I have at home. Frank
The Gun Show has changed--I don't know when it started or where it is going---but I stopped going a number of years ago.
It is just different---actors may be a word I am looking for.
Seems like folks used to enjoy the show--even the vendors---I just don't care for the atmosphere anymore.
Blessings
